Karin’s experience with Systemic Lupus left her bandaged and barely recognizable. Failed medication after another, she realized that her autoimmune disease was “for the birds.” Despite the fear of being away from her busy life for too long, Karin found herself ready for HSCT and encourages listeners to “take care of number one first!”
